Swiss mouldmaker Sch"ttli has introduced a new mould analyser product – a “black box” device that fits to the mould and captures daily production data.

The unit collects minimum, maximum and average data covering aspects such as alarms, temperature, pressure, mould gap, maintenance intervals, and counting moulding shots.

Equipped with its own LCD display, the equipment operates independently of external power supplies and needs no cabling as collected data is transferred by download to a USB stick.
